Redefining ROI for Mobile

In 2012 Google, launched a suite of new features designed to drive virtual users into real businesses. Theere was only one problem: no one, even Google, knew what they were really worth.

It turns out, the now-familiar one-click buttons in search or maps that let you call, get directions, or go to a store’s website right from a google search result were actually incredibly powerful at driving real people to buy real things in real stores.

So we built an interactive site to help Google, and their business customers quantify it.

Working in partnership with the Google Search & Ads product teams, we built an interactive site that made it fun to calculte just how much revenue Google Search Extensions were sending your way. Helping connect the dots for business owners, and drive a massive expansion in revenue for the Google Ads team.

In fact, the site was such a huge hit that the AdWords team eventually incorporated our work directly into the AdWords analytics product as a permanent ROI calculating feature.
